There isn’t any Kamen Rider Double/W this week due to the 41st Nihon University Interscholastic Relay Race. Regular programming will resume next week.
BUT here’s info on that “Second Rider”
So, according to TokyoGraph, we’re getting a “Second Rider” in the Decade/Double movie this coming December. And guess who it is? Shoutaro’s boss, Sokichi Narumi. Mmyep, Akiko’s dad, who supposedly died.
Here is a direct quote:
[...]famous detective Sokichi Narumi, a role model for the protagonist Shotaro (Ren Kiriyama), who is one half of the Kamen Rider Double team. Sokichi, who transforms into Kamen Rider Skull, holds the key to a mystery involving a resurrection, as well as the origin of Kamen Rider Double.
Sweet. Gotta wonder whose resurrection though.
Also, the whole Skull motif is a homage to Ishinomori Shoutaro’s Skull Man. And if you don’t know who Ishinomori is, then you’re not a very good Kamen Rider fan (he created the series with Toei’s Hirayama Toru).
Here’s a nice picture of Kamen Rider Skull for you.

The fedora makes him extra sexy
Note how the belt/Double Driver is only half of Double’s. And the scarf. I like the helmet design, actually.
What does this mean for the movie in December? It’s going to be a prologue to the series. Sweet!
